BlizzCon 2009 will be held from Friday August 21st through Saturday August 22nd at the Anaheim Convention Center outside of Los Angeles, CA. This year’s BlizzCon will feature an expanded space, going from three conventions halls to four. This is no doubt due to the extreme demand for tickets last year. The announcement is present on the press release section of Blizzard’s EU site.

This year’s BlizzCon will feature:

  • Hands-on play time with upcoming Blizzard Entertainment games
  • Discussion panels with Blizzard Entertainment developers
  • Competitive and casual tournaments for players to showcase their talents
  • Community contests with great prizes
  • Commemorative merchandise based on Blizzard Entertainment’s game universes
  • A silent auction
  • More exciting activities and attractions to be announced

Ticketing information is not available at this time. As soon as we have any information on ticket prices, availability, and methods of purchases, we’ll let you know.

Also N&N Tech will attend Blizzcon and when we schedule a meeting spot, we’ll let you know also.

I’ve recently put Vista on my Apple Macbook Pro(Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.60GHz & 4GB DDR2) via Boot Camp, mainly for the purpose to run Warhammer Online since my PC gaming computers are still getting repaired. The installation was flawless and then came the part to start loading up Warhammer Online on the bad boy.

The 2 Disc installation took no more than 20-30 minutes, I was surprised it didn’t ask me to put in Disc 1 close to the end of the installation since that is what it usually asks me to do.  Here came the wierd part, patching up the game took almost 3 hours! This usually takes me 30 minutes – 1 hour of patching, and that was before I turned off all my router firewall ports. I really do not know how this could have happened but I did not care since I was away from my computer most of the time, had to do some errands outside the house. All went well at the end of the patch and then playing my new marauder.

All my settings set to the highest (I am sorry, I just hate playing games low setting). At first the gameplay was rough, FPS was ranging from 10-15. After around 15 minutes of gameplay my FPS just boosted around 35-40 and remember I am using a 8600M GT graphics card.  I have no doubts about playing Warhammer Online on my apple computer and I would be doing it more often since I am on the road a lot and friends always want to see Warhammer Online up close.

If you have second thoughts about playing Warhammer Online via Macintosh, use Boot Camp. I’ve used VMWARE FUSION & Parralels 4 and they just wouldn’t run it. Boot Camp is the safest and best option to play Warhammer Online.

To wrap this up, share your experiences with Warhammer Online on your Apple computer!

I finally found a new hobby that I would like to explore and it is…BLOGGING!!!

I’m just going to start out like I always do, my name is Nick! Games, especially MMO games, are my passion in life. Just can’t stop thinking about them; how they work, what can I do to make them better, what happens if I do this, when will they release new features, and etc… At the moment I am focusing on World of Warcraft after I took a period of absence from the game when Sunwell Platue. I also play Warhammer Online and Age of Conan, only reason I play Age of Conan is because I have a free life-time subscription and want to see how the game is going to get back on its feet.

I’m the type of person which doesn’t just base an MMO when it is first released, I give it some time maybe 2-3 months, sometimes more. Many don’t believe that World of Warcraft started out like other games, with many bugs at launch date but I did. After their first expansion they reached their peak and sky rocketed in subscription numbers, and that is why I have high hope for Warhammer Online.

N&N Tech Blog will cover daily adventures I experience during my MMO experience. On the side, it will also cover; MMO News, Tips, FAQ, and more… In the future we plan on having a huge community and launch a forum, social network, podcast, and much more interactive features!

Now many ask, why Word Press? Because I can edit it on the go. I have a iPhone 3G and I am on the road a lot and like to do things on the mobile, so I used different blog editor applications and found Word Press was the easiest and user-friendly I got used too, and I like the UI.

Well now you know the basic information about myself and this blog, now it is your turn to introduce yourself! Don’t be shy, I know your behind your monitor 100,000 miles away from me.

Now lets start off with a quote I am for.

“Waaaagh!”
